(Credits: The below dates are adapted from a webpage at the ‘New Generation’ website – which is a school groups movement based out of Sweden.)
If you’re looking for outreach or ‘connection’ programme ideas – to have fun in a school – what if you were to pick a couple of the below dates, to create a fun activity out of it?
The idea here speaks for itself – so there isn’t much to say.
- With some creativity, Christian groups in schools could have real fun around some of these ideas,
- Your communication key through it is to attach an idea or story to the activity – unless your programme is simply about having fun and connecting (with no content. There is a place for this).
- Re an ‘idea or story’ – a small story from history that is subtly related to Christian influence for good, esteeming the value of faith, can be good. Or a simple Bible story from Jesus.
- Consider what the non-church youth in your school might best engage with – to have fun – while connecting with a message of hope.
- You’re smart. And as a group God can lead you!
Here’s the list. Get creative – and please have some fun! :-)
